In June 2022, our founder Salvacion Lim Higgins was proclaimed a National Artist in the category of Design. The Order of National Artists Award (Orden ng Gawad Pambansang Alagad ng Sining) is the highest national recognition given to Filipino individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of Philippine arts and letters.


In September 2022, an exhibition entitled SLIM: Salvacion Lim Higgins, National Artist for Design was mounted at SM Aura. One dozen dresses were displayed from different decades of Slim's career, along with blow up photographs of some of her creations.
