For this year’s exhibition, Slim’s students took inspiration from the work of the school’s founder, couture designer Salvacion Lim Higgins (‘Slim’), to celebrate the launch of an Education Fund in her name. Her body of work, created between 1947 to 1990, inspired students with signature styles such as dramatic silhouettes, unpredictable color palettes and sophisticated construction techniques.
